For someone who has a bigger space, this stove is not appropriate. I bought this a year ago with that thought that it would do an excellent job in heating up my place. But I was absolutely wrong when I tried it for myself. It takes hours to have it working effectively. I am so disappointed with this. I’ll just have to give it to a friend who has a smaller place, Hope it works there.Overall Performance:

Only had this stove half year. Very disappointed. Dealer said it would heat my large area and it does not. Maybe get 6 hours burn time at best. Even with superb wood The Lopi 1750 will never outperform the old cast iron no name brand I had for 25 years. Now I'm stuck with the LopiOverall Performance:

I find that this fire is not worth the money it costs. It has very poor draft & if your wood has a small amount of moisture in it will cause the flue & chimney to clog up with creosote .Overall Performance:

I have this stove in a cabin and a LOPI Endeavor w/ a blower in my home. Both are fantastic! Long burn times. I haven't used my furnace in years and have been very satisfied.Overall Performance:

Would I recommend the Lopi Republic 1750? Yes. But there are questions your dealers need to ask before a customer buys your wood stove. One: what type of chimney do you have? Two: is the chimney inside your home or outside? Three: what size chimney/flue do you have? Four: does your chimney extend over the roof of your house, far enough, for good draft? Five: is you home so air tight, that ...Overall Performance:

I have had this stove for a couple years. As long as the chimney and stove (internals) are cleaned 2 times a season it is great! I heat 1,600 sq ft. With no trouble at all with temps in the high 20s or 30s even with no power and no blower! As most info says a woodstove is a zone heat source, this stove does fine in an open floor plan, ranch style home. 100% recommend this stove! If u have to ...Overall Performance:

I have had this stove for 3 months and it is not worth the money. Burns lots of wood, leaves lots of ash and does not heat efficiently at all. Poor draft. No way this stove heats 2000 sq ft - even with the blower installed.
