Owner since 2014. and no regret at all. I like his Wintergrill option too. I still continue to thing that I have made the best choice for keeping my basement warm, being used as secondary and for backup. Jotul deserve my high score, not only for their F50TL high performance, but also because they send to me a new Free Wintergrill kit just by filling their FREE wintergrill offer... even if I ...Overall Performance:

I just had this stove installed today and burned it. The stove takes a bit of work to get going, but once it gets up to 400 degrees it works impressively. I like the large size of the firebox. This is a huge improvement over my 30 year old Jotul # 8, which I also really liked. The stove won't get much of workout this spring, so I will need to see how it performs through next winter. But ...Overall Performance:

this is a follow up to my 2 previous reviews for this tl50 wood stove. We remain a very happy with this unit. It has performed very very well over the ensuing almost 4 years that we've had the stove. It's hard to imagine now going back to a normal type of stove without the secondary burned. When we clean the chimney each fall going into the winter there is barely a coffee cup full of small grains ...Overall Performance:

Purchased this stove and had it professionally installed. It heats our 1500 sq ft week-end home with no problems. The reburn is excellent at 400-500 degrees. It will hold a fire for 6-8 hours with dry popular with no problem. I have only used the winter grill once but it is a nice feature. I do not use the top load as my wood is to large for it. It is a rather small opening and if you load wood ...Overall Performance:

Bought the Rangeley August of 2012. After one full very long seemingly never ending winter, I am very happy with this unit. We tend to burn at about 35% open and with good dry wood only load the stove twice a day. I thought the top load would be great, but I've found that I rarely use that option. I use larger logs, up to 10", for longer burn times and the top load door only allows something ...Overall Performance:

Continuing my review from last Fall (2012), we have been using the TL50 for several months heating. I have learned a good bit about this new style of burning. The stove rewards you will great heat output and clean glass (pretty much) and lovely flames, if you load and run it appropriately. I have started to rely more on logs placed front to back rather then side to side. ...Overall Performance:

I have been learning about this stove since I installed it about 3 weeks ago. I have been heating with wood for many many years and have owned many wood stoves, both heating and cooking types. However, this is the first modern, secondary burn heater I have used. Overall it is a pleasure to use and responds well to being on day after day heat duty. It will pick up from coals to ...Overall Performance:

Very rarely will I rate anything 5 out of 5. This stove keeps my 1800+ sq ft house at 68° all night if I half load it and keep the air control about 1/3 open. Get the stove top to 400° and let it "simmer" for a few hours and this stove will keep my house at over 71° for a good long time. Use good dry wood and the F 50 will perform like a champ! Getting the secondaries to kick in is magical, then ...Overall Performance:

I purchased the Rangeley to supplement heat and cut our heating costs during the winter. I have used it for the past few weeks at night and WOW, it cranks out some heat. It takes a little time to get hot because is cast iron but once its hot, it stays hot. No problems to speak of. I have it in the basement, and have no doubt it will heat my home on its own.Overall Performance:

Easily the best wood stove I've owned. I've owned a lot of them, too. The perfect stove for us.
