Bought this stove in 2014. Learned how to use it, theirs a learning curve. Plus you really should have a good draw. One issue is the lever to shut it down can at times pop back, creating a dangerous over burn that causes damage to the stove, yet a fire hazard when sleeping. After only 2 winter seasons of use, the large back "center brick", has a crack in it. Which reading other reviews is going ...Overall Performance:

At first, I encountered few problems with this stove. But after consulting the user’s manual, it’s already good to go. Its burning capacity is awesome since it was able stay still even with just few bricks. It is indeed effective and at the same time economical. Perfect for just married couples who is just starting to have their own family.Overall Performance:

It took me one winter to learn how to use the stove but when i did i got a super effeciant burn with no smoke from the chiminy. First of all one must have a red bed of coles before venting from the bottom of the stove. LEAVE THE AIR INTAKE FULLY OPEN AT ALL TIMES. NEVER CLOSE IT DOWN.....This stove is as close to rocket stove tecnology as possible. Never try to get 17 hours of burn as you will ...Overall Performance:

I had high hopes for this stove, love the way it's made far superior to the competition however operating it is a chore, this was purchased as a main heat source in the winter time burning 24X7 for 4 months. Every year for the past 6 years the rear brick breaks (179.00) and every other year I have to replace the combustion package at several hundred dollars. This stove is not what it appears and ...Overall Performance:

This is a beautiful Decor stove but not a stove to be used or expected to achieve half of the stated abilities. I have finally figured out this complex machine after a winter of use so i will only tell of my actual experience and let you decide. Firstly before anyone fires up this stove remove the back plate and check the condition of the special brick fire dome. Care full!! (they are very ...Overall Performance:

We have had a few problems with our stove. The installer did not know what he was doing. There was a constant leak in the area where he installed the stove. We never had a leak there before. It took me several requests, including the threat of a lawsuit, before we could get him to have a roofer fix the leak. We had the handle snap off after only 3 months of use. The installer place the stove too ...Overall Performance:

First week front glass broke. Had to replace all the firebricks, one costing over $200. End of season started billowing black smoke. Have had nothing but problems, don't waste your money!Overall Performance:

Awesome quality and efficiency. Long burn times with just a few pieces of wood. I can get an 8hr burn with the firebox just half full. This stove will stay at high consistent temperatures for a long period of time. Burning red and white oak. I found that keeping the ash compartment full makes for longer burn times and more consistent burn. Just empty the ashes from the main firebox. ...Overall Performance:

Love this stove. We were looking for a bit of a feature decor stove in our main living room. I didn't need it to heat the whole house or anything... Just looking for something of a conversation piece and to take the edge off our damp winter. People love the look of it and we wound up using it to heat our entire house all winter long. For a small stove it packs a serious punch and burns all ...Overall Performance:

What a piece of junk. Burning 2 year old maple. When temp in the 20's produces enough heat to warm a living room and dinning room. Was told it would heat up to 2500 square feet, maybe if you live in VA. but not in upstate NY. It has flair up all the time puffing smoke int the room. Not at all worth the money.
