Been running various wood stoves for 20 years and have never came across such an absolutely horrid stove. Entirely too air tight they need constant monitoring and frigging with the draught and door to not only light but keep going. The fire box is way to shallow (about one and a half inches deep) and needs cleaning daily. Not only a big hassle but also making them very VERY unsafe because of ...Overall Performance:

I researched the best wood stove to buy for a year. Every time I keep coming back to this stove. I am so glad I did. This stove is a work horse. I have not had any smoke or fumes in the house, I just open the vent wide open and crack the door and no problem. I put the stove in my fireplace and vent straight up, no elbows to restrict air flow. I feel this is the problem with some stoves letting ...Overall Performance:

I recently bought a Drolet HT 2000,,Ive had to redesign the handle as you would burn your hand every time you opened the door,,seems to heat good but when you open the door to fill it, it puts fumes into the room,,even with the draft wide open and even when you open the door real slowly,,also have a new stainless steel chimney insert installed,,and the baffles are installed correctly,,wish I had ...Overall Performance:

I have a 756sq ft winterised cottage in Nova Scotia Canada. This stove will not heat it , it will not do as advertised , and the Drolet Company will not a authorise their dealer , Home Hardware to take it back. Drolet does not stand behind their products and are very arrogant to deal with. Do not buy this stove, it will not do what they say it will do , and you will get BURNT by the Drolet ...Overall Performance:

Purchased stove here in Sask. Starts ok, but heat doesn't permate room, parts hard to purchase and eats tons of wood. And before someone states I don't know how to use one.......been heating my home with wood since I was 11 and it became my job, so handling a stove is not an issue. Purchased a different model and maker. Puts this one to shame!Overall Performance:

Would never recommend this stove Can't find anyone to help to get it to work or for replacement parts Had for 2 years and has headache trying to get it started will have to get a wood stove that only needs me to feed it which would be more effecient as I don't quit and my power bill would be less. If any one can contact me with a service rep in the Edmonton area that would be great email ...Overall Performance:

I removed a old Fisher stove aqnd installed this unit. I believe it is safer, but it will not put the heat out the older heater would. The fan blows cold air even when under full operation. Yes epa approved and yes very safe as the wall behind is just warm, but why are we hauling the wood if not to stay warm.Overall Performance:

I've owned this stove for a year now, and I'm looking forward to another winter of using it. I highly recommend the stove to anyone. I haven't had any problems with it, and it's fun to burn with.
