Review: Pacific Energry True North TN19
Pacific Energry True North TN19
As long as your wood is seasoned well.. this stove is great. Older stoves will ignite semi-seasoned wood a lot easier. It throws a lot of heat.. and hard wood will keep coals until morning when its loaded up and if the damper is off. Sometimes its hard to start unlike older stoves, and can get frusterating. I would recommend throwing a handful of wood pellets in a couple of times to help start and get a fire + coal bed built up. A torch will sometimes help as well. When there is a good coal bed going it will burn easy- gets the mini home up to 40C and have to open doors in the middle of a cold winter day haha.
Heat output: 9.5/10 - easily over heats 1100sq ft.
Starting Fire: 4/10 - Ive cursed a few times.
Visual: 8/10 - Should clean it fairly often.
Quality: 8.5/10 - Great, 3 bricks cracked in first month with gentle use though.
