Review: St. Croix Lancaster
St. Croix Lancaster
St Croix is far better than Harman. Less bells and whistles means less that can go wrong. 12 years with mine I replaced a fan motor because it got loud, yeah probably could have replaced a bearing but how long would that have lasted. It keeps the house clean. For a reviewer that said it made your house dirty. You are mistaken. More likely dust or black or not is caused by either no outside air intake so it's sucking in exhausted air by a window or a More likely cause. The vacuum, fine ash goes right through vac bags. I keep my vac outside and put the house through a window. That. Cleared my black dust issue. Still skeptical? Remember the stove is sealed , for safety. It dies not leak air or ash. More proof? If out was leaking air /ash it would shut down, it's a built in safety feature. It has a sensor that cuts power to the stove when an air leak is present. Highly recommend st Croix stoves. I run a Harman now, because I needed one with an igniter. The st Croix is a lot more efficient. Harman = a lot of heat with a lot of fuel. St Croix a lot of heat with half the fuel.
