Review: Avalon Arbor
Ease of Use:
Avalon Arbor>Lopi Leyden on inside; Great stove, great heat
I have a 2008 Lopi Leyden pellet stove which is similar in design on the inside as this Avalon Arbor, both are made by Travis Industries. Mine is more traditional in outside design than this Arbor. I am surprised I did not a Lopi Leyden listed here on this review site. I have a brown enameled unit and have had very good luck with it. It heats my 1800+ sq ft home easily. Most of the time it is set at #2 out of 6 on the heat control; it keeps our main level at 72-75 and upstairs at 65-68. There is an optional remote thermostat that I can use with it but for the heating season prefer to use the stove heat setting to save on igniter use. This stove has a great view of the fire, easily cleans and does not require too much care. All pellet stoves require some care to maintain well. I have been very happy with it.
