Review: Regency F2400 Classic
Regency F2400 Classic
I replaced my Kent Tile stove which served me exceedingly well for 25 or so years. This is my second winter with the Regency & to say I am disappointed in it's performance is an understatement. It will not heat my 1500 sf home. Last winter it wouldn't go above 63º. I changed wood suppliers (oak both years) and this year shut down part of the house and I can get it up to 65º. It was advertised as being more full efficient but I am using 1/3 MORE wood for less heat. In addition, the handle will burn you if you hold it too high or too low, so you have to grab it right in the middle. In loading it, the inside metal rim is sharp and I now use leather gloves to make sure I don't cut myself. The Kent was well engineered and I loved it..the Regency.....%#$@*^!!!!!
