Review: Fahrenheit Technologies Endurance 50F
Fahrenheit Technologies Endurance 50F
This is the poorest investment I have ever purchased I sell/lease and work on dish machines for the largest instutional detergent company in the USA. We sell some poor products that we must stand behind. We either improve or replace the products. This unit will not burn corn correctly. Doesn't want to light. Goes out constantly and the pot is made out of light metal that bends. You constantly have to weld it back together so that it will work for a few days. The draft fan gets full of soot and dirt, so you need to clean the unit half
way threw heating season. This still happens when you double screen your corn. Fahrenheit will say it is a fuel problem, but I burn corn that is double screened and 12-13% (not sixteen) which they recommend your corn needs to be at. My dad is a farmer and has small batch dryer with a screener built into it plus I screen it after . I work on dish machines with micro switches- control boards and many of the same parts as this unit. The door saftey switch quit working. The lid switch quit working and the element on the ignitnor burned out. I have had this unit since 2007 and have never got a good night sleep since we have owned it. You must get up ever three hours and make sure that it has re started the burn pot after it goes threw its cleaning action. The company tells you to call dealer and all he wants to do is charge $75 per hour drive time. He Doesn't seem to know too much and can't tell you anything on the phone I bet I get 3 dishmachines fixed a week over the phone. I am sure the marketing person at fahrenheit can send you to one of his videos of how it will work. They will always have an upgrade. They sent out an upgrade on the board. Could not tell any difference between the old and the new. They want you to buy a new style pot system, because "this design is going to make the unit run so much better". I have not yet and want some feed back from someone that is buring corn who is not a dealer or a marketing person from the company. I have already fixed my door switch and lid switch, with my own parts out of my work vehicle. You would think that between Fahrenheit and the dealers, that represent them... Dont want to buy another entire "upgraded pot system for 350.00 thats pretty much made out of pot steel...Junk!
