Review: Sedore Model 3000
Sedore Model 3000
After reading many posts, reviews and reading the PDF owner's manual from the site, I decided to take the plunge. Living in Northern Ontario, the winters get long and cold. After installation, I lit'er up and everything went according as planned. My chimney, being 18ft, had good draft. I'm mostly burning softwoods and some birch. Filling it up, it lasted all night. Up to now, I'm really satisfied with my purchase. I'll inspect my chimney mid-season to see what and if there is creosote buildup, but I don't expect it since it burns so hot and the combustion does not seem oxygen deprived. I like the fact that I'll be able to top-up the firebox with my workshop shavings from my planer.
