American Energy Systems Magnum Countryside
i had this stove for 4 years now and all i have to say is its a good thing im a welder first week of the second burn season the fingers on the stur started breaking off the sturr does not come out so i ran leads in the hous and welded them back on and cleaning the sturr is a real pain in the butt and its always clanging and banging...at the end of the third season the brass bushing that the sturr rides in went out and the dealer said that thier is no replacement or repair but he would sell me a new stove.... to get it out you have to cut the sturr than cut the sturr drive shaft and then the bushing is pressed in a piece of 1/2" pipe and welded in the fire box i tried for 2 hours to get the bushing out of the pipe and could not get it to move... they put it together in a way the you have to destroy everything to get it out so i left the bushing in and pluged the hole and i tried to burn the stove with out the sturr and the fire pot is not big enough it just choaked out after about 3 hours so i made a bigger fire pot and left the sturr out i have been burning it now for 1 week that way and i have to remove a clinker daily and have NOT had to clean the ash out yet... now it is a very easy stove to use before with the sturr had to clean it at least every other day kevin@kevinswelding.com
