Looks good but $3099 piece of junk. Don't buy for its look unless you want to put $500 into it every year. Had stove 7 years and nothing but problems from start. Even the dealer said they are problems. Thelnin is under a new owner now and worse. Prices double for parts. Don't buy!!!Overall Performance:

As much as we love the look of this stove, it's been nothing but problems. We keep the pot and stove clean it continue to end up with a house full of smoke. Qualified installer and manufacturer rep have been at the home many times and once again this morning woke up with a house full of smoke. Would highly advise against purchasing this stove.Overall Performance:

I have had this stove since December 2008 and find it very easy to operate, clean and it's not only beautiful in home but works very efficiently. I would recommend to anyone and I'm amazed at the number of complaints I see. I think if you maintain your stove properly you'll have years of wonderful use!Overall Performance:

I absolutely LOVE the looks of the stove! I absolutely HATE the poor quality of the Auger motors. Only about 1-1.5 tons a year and the auger motor fails. The commutator comes apart in the motor and the stove stalls. 5 motors in 6 years! 295.00 each. Do the math and I could heat with electric and come out about even! I know for a fact these motors cost 75.00 from the wholesale supplier but they ...Overall Performance:

This is a great looking stove that is very unreliable. 4 years now and each year I need to replace the expensive igniter. Last year two senors failed on it as well. But it looks nice.Overall Performance:

Bought it for its looks...good thing it rarely runs, and the company offered no help in finding an authorized repair person. Three people have come and looked at the igniter. None were able to fix it. After repeated attempts we were finally able to contact the company and ask for a list of qualified repair people The company knows of none. Their poor products are only surpassed by thier even ...Overall Performance:

Same issue as most. Auger motor terribly noisy for the first couple years before it seemed to resolve itself. When I called Thelin a few years back, he acted totally surprised about the noise and claimed he had no idea what could be the issue. Turns out, the problem was quite common. Whatever. Fan now drops speed down to nearly nothing and then surges. Call Thelin this week and discover you can ...Overall Performance:

I am not pleased with this stove. I have had my stove 5 years. During that time I have had the ignitor replaced three times (it isn't working now). I was told after I purchased it that the stove is not adaptable to attaching a thermostat, even though there are connections for one--the stove is either burning or its off. There is no temperature control, other than the low, medium and high ...Overall Performance:

I recently called the company to get an auger motor for the stove. He told me that there was a list of dealers available to order parts. They want $300 for this auger assembly which is ridiculous. i just need the motor. but he refused to give me any information about the motor. All i wanted was the specs so i could match it up with a compatible motor. He was rude and obnoxious and refused to help ...Overall Performance:

I've owned the echo pellet stove for 4 years and have had nothing but problems with it since I put it in my home. I had to replace the auger moter once and have to replace it again. As many others have written, stove is in constant need of parts replacement and dealer network is pathetic. We've had ours since 2006 and replaced auger motor twice, fan motor, ignitor, brushes, you name it. Now it's got some kind of electrical glitch that I can't figure out and the original dealer we bought it from is unreachable. In the past Thelin would talk you through repairs but after ...Overall Performance:

Thelin Parlour II: Besides the auger motor being replaced after 2 months, an ignitor after 2 years...February 2013, What could be worse than a CRACK in the steel above the fire/pellet pot.... Dear Mr. Coghlans: I first must apologize. I gave you some wrong information. I have had my stove for 9 years not 7 years. I have talked to other pellet stove owners who say they use their stoves 6 to 8 months of the year and burn anywhere from 3 tons to 5 tons of pellets a year (50 - 40 pound bags to a ton) They have owned non Thelin stoves for 5 to 15 years with no structural damage ...Overall Performance:

My stove is about 5 years old. It ran well for the first winter, then the fun began. We have replaced the mother board, sensors, fan (more than once) and countless ignitor rods. I cant' remember if we have replaced the auger motor or not. I assume we have or it will be the next thing to go. It's impossible to find a local person who will service it. Cute stove, but it has been a huge expenditure every single year, and always right around christmas when money is shortest and the weather is coldest. I read several reviews regarding Thelin and found them mixed. I purchased my Parlour two years ago and other than a motor problem when I initially bought the unit I have not had an issue with it. This is a good looking pellet stove but it doesn't heat our 100 year old two story farm house very well. Had to have the motor replaced in the first year along with the auger. Called the manufacturer about the heating problem and they told us that we couldn't get good quality pellets in our area in NC. Wish I had known that before hand. It is not easy to clean and it is a very messy job. ...Overall Performance:

I have owned and used a parlour 3000 since 2002. I run it 24/7 except for the one hour cool down and vacuum once or twice a week during the heating season. About every 4 to 5 years I have to replace the feed and air motors for $200. I like it a lot and don't even see it on the electric bill(27 watts)/<$5.00 a month. After less than two years, the fan went out. Because I'm in a rural area, no service techs could be found for several weeks. I paid for 3 service calls and then the auger went out (this is 2 weeks later). A $3,000. product that lasts less than two years is more than planned obselescence or bad design; it's fraud. Don't get it for the looks; it doesn't work.Overall Performance:

I purchased a Thelin Parlour stove this year and I tell you, this was the best purchase I made the entire year. The stove runs as good as it looks. I am so unhappy with this stove. My local Hearth & Home store doesn't even sell them anymore. I have spent more money on replacing parts,(my husband is a heat tech so the labor is free) it makes me sick. Every year its always something. Now the auger is acting up. I should have just purchased a new boiler. It would have been cheaper and ALOT LESS hassle.Overall Performance:

I love the look of the stove. I have to clean it daily because good pellets are not coming my way. Replaced the Auger after 3 weeks, need a new ash pan now...won't stay closed. Clogs soooo easily :( very disappointed but when it works its awesome...HELP!!!!Overall Performance:

I dig this stove - it's got the look of a classic enamel wood stove, but without having to cut and stack wood. Sensitive to grade of pellets - lower quality pellets have built up ash very quickly. The fire pot is not big, so ash clogs it up quickly. Good quality oak or hickory pellets are recommended. Can raise the temperature ofa room 10 degrees in about an hour on medium. Seems to run most ...Overall Performance:

They better do something about the fan in this stove. I have to replace the $200. fan every other season and it's a pain. Mr Thelin has informed me that the reason for the fan failure is because it runs for extended periods of time. I know that eight hours a day during the winter months is more than my bathroom fan but so far I've gotten 25 years out that one. I'm considering taking the fan out ...
