NU-TEC Upland 207
The Upland 207 Pellet Stove is available in five porcelain enameled colors: Black, Red, Green, Almond, and Taupe. The Upland’s natural draft and bottom feed system produces the most attractive fire view in the industry.
The large glassceramic window in the polished, nickel plated door stays remarkably clean. The Upland cast-iron body efficiently radiates a comfortable heat without the need for noisy, air drying convection fans. A small, quiet computer type fan draws out the heat from the back of the stove. The top is large enough to hold a steamer, crock of cider, or even pot of soup. A 75 lb. capacity hopper allows the stove to run for up to three days unattended.
The UP207P has an average efficiency of approximately 83% using the test methods for biomass heaters. At low heat, the Upland burns about one pound of pellets per hour. On high heat the unit burns approximately four pounds per hour. With premium pellets this stove will yield over 30,000 BTUs.
Bottom feed pellet stoves are able to tolerate lessor quality, high ash pellets, as is the Upland 207 Pellet Stove. While designed as a pellet stove, the Upland will also burn a corn – pellet mix consisting of up to 80% corn.

I researched pellet stoves on the internet for some time before I bought the Nu Tech Upland 207. I was swept up by all the rave reviews so purchased the stove and paid to ship it to Alaska. We finally got our home finished and installed the stove. What a beauty it is. To say we like this stove is an understatement. It's our primary source of heat and does a fantastic job. We have a 2200 sq ...Overall Performance:

I purchased a NU-TEC Upland 207 fall of 2013. I love it! It is the best pellet stove around. It is exceptionally quiet and puts out tons of heat. We run it on lowest setting much of the time and even have to open windows. We live in Wyoming, where winters are long and cold too. Our home is approximately 1250 sq ft. To make a long story short, I want to buy some back up electrical ...Overall Performance:

I bought the Upland 207 in Sept of 2013. I had no experience with pellet stoves prior to owning this one. The idea of over-seeing the operation of a heat source with multiple moving parts was intimidating for the first few months. We have no repair service to speak of in this region of Vermont outside of the shops (The Stove Depot etc) which service only those units they sell. And we did have ...Overall Performance:

The Upland 207 Pellet Stove has a sterling reputation. United States Stove Company has purchased the NU-TEC Incorpored designs including the Upland 207 Pellet Stove. The new model is the SPC-50. The basic design is the same. The hopper capacity has been slightly reduced for esthetic purposes. This has not had a detrimental effect on the the reliability and ease of operation. Well this is our 3rd or 4th season using the upland stove and what a pleasure it is to run a simple stove with great radiant heat. It still looks like new and is easy to clean inbetween shutdowns. We love our stove! I see that Peter has sold the company. Well if he is still involved in anyway, please tell him that we love our stove. We had a blizzard here last week with 12 inches of snow, -17 degrees, and 30 mph winds. We lost power for 14 hrs. but remained toasty warm with the stove running off the battery Tom had from our pontoon. I even cooked a pot of soup on top of the stove. Happy! ...Overall Performance:

We have been heating with pellet stoves at primary home (2,200 sq. ft.) and a second home (1,600 sq. ft.) for over 16 years here in New England. This stove is great! If you like a wood stove you'll love this stove. It looks and feels like a wood stove without the too hot too cold cycles you always have with a wood stove. I liked it so much I bought a second stove for my folks and installed it in their living room. They sit there all the time watching the flame. My Dad loves the fact that the oil furnace has not come on this year.Overall Performance:

This is my second season burning the NU-TEC Upland 207. I also burn a Harman P43. The cast iron Upland 207 burn much like a woodstove except it uses pellets. It was a milder winter, but that said it was still below 20 or colder here most nights from Dec to Feb. I used less than 1/8th of a tank of fuel oil- so I think I may have paid for the stoves already since oil was around $4.00 a gallon here. I went through 9 tons of wood pellets paying no more that 217 a ton. The quality varied- The InstaHeat brand burned well, but Green Supreme was poor in ...Overall Performance:

NU-TEC Upland 207 pellet stove: The Little (Red) Engine That Could. This cast-iron beauty is everything I ever dreamed of in a pellet stove. I bought a red color, being fashion conscious that I am. I happened to acquire an estate sale what appears to be an original Upland 207 Pellet Stove. The safety plate says that it was built in 1993.
