May 1, 2008- Wise Heat
This year's Biomass '08 Technical Workshop: Power, Fuels, and Chemicals is set for July 15-16, 2008 at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
There are going to be presentations on many topics related to biomass and biodiesel technologies, but for stove owners, rural landowners, and others who deal with these technologies on a daily basis, these sections of the workshop would be ideal to attend: Trends and Opportunities in Utilizing Biomass, Biomass Feedstocks and Agriculture, and Biomass for Heat and Electricity. Last year the workshop drew over 400 participants and 40 exhibitors from over 230 different organizations.
If you are interested in where biomass energy technologies are headed, this workshop is a don't miss one. The Biomass '08 Technical Workshop is sponsored by the Centers for Renewable Energy and Biomass Utilization, one of the Energy & Environmental Research Center's (EERC's) ten Centers of Excellence, the U.S. Department of Energy, with collaborating sponsor, the North Dakota Department of Commerce Division of Community Services State Energy Program, and BBI International.
