Very rarely will I rate anything 5 out of 5. This stove keeps my 1800+ sq ft house at 68° all night if I half load it and keep the air control about 1/3 open. Get the stove top to 400° and let it "simmer" for a few hours and this stove will keep my house at over 71° for a good long time. Use good dry wood and the F 50 will perform like a champ! I purchased the Rangeley to supplement heat and cut our heating costs during the winter. I have used it for the past few weeks at night and WOW, it cranks out some heat. It takes a little time to get hot because is cast iron but once its hot, it stays hot. No problems to speak of. I have it in the basement, and have no doubt it will heat my home on its own.Overall Performance:

Easily the best wood stove I've owned. I've owned a lot of them, too. The perfect stove for us.
