Blaze King King Classic KEJ 1107
Blaze King® King Classic Wood Stoves, Ultra, Parlor and Classic models, provide the optimum heating efficiency from solid wood. When wood is initially burned in the firebox of your stove, as much as one-third of the wood’s energy is released as gases and liquid/vapor materials. The Blaze King® catalytic combustor stoves capture these gases and materials and "burns" them instead of losing the energy up the chimney.
This secondary burn capability means greater heat output and cleaner emissions from the wood consumed. The overall consumption of wood is reduced while heat output is increased.
Main Features of the King Models:
- Up to 90,000 Btu’s
- 82.5% Efficiency
- Optional Gold Plated Doors
- 1400 Degree Ceramic Glass
- Optional Variable Speed Dual Fans

Have been using a blaze king since 2001 and it is still going strong. The comment that the catalyst needs to be replaced after 3 years is not correct. If you burn the stove properly, use seasond and dry wood, and not too much pine or birch, you can get many more years than three. I am on year 10 and while weak, the catalyst still functions. I am planning on replacing it this fall just because I ...Overall Performance:

Outstanding source of heat. Get a good bed of coals. Lay some oak or almond on it. Let the catalytic element vaporize the smoke and create more heat.. The only thing visible that comes out of my chimney is steam! Simple but genius. Read the manual and you can't go wrong.Overall Performance:

We bought our Blaze King with a solid front door, with ceramic trim and double handles in the 80's. It was fabulously efficient, warmed our 2000 sq.ft home, we never had to use the electic heat. We did eventually switch to coal for ease of fuel use, but coal is dirty. The catylitic converter needs replacing after 3 yrs of use.Overall Performance:

We bought the BK 2 winters ago and have found it to do what it is supposed to do - heat our 1600 sf basement. We did need to learn how to get it going/lit with the Catylitic Converter - read those instructions when all else fails.
