Lopi Liberty
Lopi claims this is the biggest wood stove they’ve ever made. The Liberty weighs almost 500 lbs and is made out of 3/16" to 5/16" steel. Puts out over 74,000 BTUs and has a 3.1 cubic foot firebox. The stove is 70% efficient and will heat up to 2500 square feet. If you’re looking for a big stove, the Liberty is one of the largest made.

We reserched stoves for months, then decided to purchase the Liberty by Lopi. We were attracted to the stove for its size and looks. The energy eff. also made my wife proud. We have used this stove for five seasons and could not be happier. Having many friends who have stove to heat their home only reinforces our pride of purchasing this unit. As you can see we are pleased.Overall Performance:

This is the second Lopi stove we have owned. We have had the Liberty stove for 2 1/2 yrs and have been very happy with it up until now. I would still give the stove high marks in overall performance, efficiency and ease of use. The last time I cleaned my stove, I noticed cracks on the inside on the back wall. I've contacted the dealer we purchased this unit from and currently are waiting to ...Overall Performance:

I grew up with & around wood stoves. I've been a forester for 35 years. We've never got the Liberty to hold a fire more than 7.5 hours, regardless of condition of the wood. We've had one part after another repeatedly wear out, more so than on any other similar stove we've seen! The dealer who had the closest store to us in The Dalles OR was often rude & unhelpful. He's now out of ...Overall Performance:

I have a Lopi model 520 \ 96 shich I beleive is the Liberty model. I just put it in a cabin after having in storage for 10 years. It is the worst stove I have tried to feel warm with!! It is built well but for some reason, it will not heat enough to cook the surface, let alone heat a room. I have heated my own home for 30 years, with a nice home built i had a friend make. it has served me ...Overall Performance:

The Lopi Liberty is a newly designed, energy efficient woodstove. It is engineered to burn quite differently than older designs. Anyone having trouble with a Lopi stove doesn't understand how to operate a modern designed stove. Can't teach old dogs new tricks, I guess.Overall Performance:

I have been heating my home with wood for 30 years. I replaced my Hurricane stove with a lopi Republic 1750. Worst mistake I ever made. You have to nurse this stove for at least an hour to get a fire going enough to even begin to get any heat. My house constantly has smoke in it when I am burning the stove. The fire box is small and there is no way to get the stove to burn all night. I will ...
