TWO MAJOR complaints on this stove..... As mentioned in the previous post, you can not get a real flame unless the ash pan door is open. Also the 'self cleaning' system for the front glass forces the smoke to billow into the room when you open the front doors to load it. The smole billows out because the air intake forces the air to front of the stove. I get enough heat from the stove, but the wood smolders instead of really burning unless the air intake is open fully.
I have had this stove for 3 weeks and am calling my dealer tomorrow to come and show me how to open the doors to load wihout filling the house with smoke. If they cannot do it then I plan on returning the stove. Also, the braid seals are not glued properly and are fallign off.
Althoug this is a beautiful looking stove, I would not recommend it. Also when I went to load it this morning, an internal bracket had dropped off into the fire box.
The only reason I do not give this a 0 rating is the fact that it is a pretty stove. Like the song says, if you want to be happy the rest of your life, never make a pretty woman your wife.
