Napoleon Franco Belge Normandie
I have used this stove for several years, Best value for the money. I burn dyed diesel #2. You need a minimum 15 ft of 5" pipe from the top of the stove. At high altitude 4" is supposed to work better. If you have a draft problem you don't have enough pipe, or your damper is not adjusted properly. As far as lighting it goes, try squirting the gel into the small pipe behind the lower door next to the decoking rod. And remember to use the decoking rod about once a month. Also scrape the pot of the carbon buildup twice a season. You will never be sorry for having this unit.
