St. Croix Greenfield
We live in mid Michigan with very long and cold winters. We live in a 104 year old farm house. (wiht some remodeling done) We have had the Greenfield for 2 1/2 years now and I (we) love it. It has never given us any problems what so ever. Infact, right now we need to replace a fan for it but, that's not a huge deal at all. We do have another source of heat but, never use it. We use the Greenfield as our main/only heat source in our home. It has a blower and 5 different heat settings and we rarely use the 2 hottest settings. Like last week we were -11degrees F outside and we used the top settings. We bought this stove off the showroom floor. they had used it for 2 years to heat the showroom. They couldn't keep this stove in stock for nothing. And we didnt' want to wait for it to come in. So if a fan is all it has went thru in 4+ years I say it's a great product. We have no complaints at all about this stove. It does use power but, hardly any at all. I don't even notice the difference in my winter power bills due to this stove. It looks great in our family room and adds some class to a wonderful home.
If you're looking for a nice clean heat with hardly any mess at all then this is the stove for you. I say the price you pay for this baby will pay you back in your first winters use. I'm so very please that my husband picked out this stive. He made an excellant choice.
