Quadra-Fire Castile
This stove is visually appealing, but that's the ONLY good feature I 've found. It is VERY noisy, both fan and even the flame has a loud roar. My Castile is tuned by the REP and still it is not a convienent stove to own. It produces MAJOR clinkers DAILY and needs to be cleaned TWICE a day or it will ROAR so loud that the neighbors get concerned. The firepot clean out rod is so hard to pull that i have to hold the stove with my other hand for fear that it will move as I tug on the ROD to release the endless supply of HUGE clinkers. Seriously LOUD. Fan decibels on low is OK, but with not much heat,,, turn it up to medium and you cannot hear the TV. Pellets have trouble sliding down the hopper chute also. And hopper DOES NOT hold a full bag either. Had stove for only 2 weeks and paint is peeling off of the heat exchanger tubes in front from the heat. (It is visible and looks terrible)
What a disapointment this QUAD has been so far.
