Amaizablaze Cherokee Model 2100
I bought the Model 2100 in 2006 and have used it as supplemental heat when temperatures were sub-zero. In those four years I've burned approximately 5 tons of corn. The blowers were noisy from day one and the room blower motor is so inaccessible it required taking the unit apart to oil it. This helped the noise problem some until recently when the blower motor locked-up. This would have been a dangerous situation if I hadn't went to check how much corn was in the hopper before going to bed. I found the stove to be very hot to the touch and realizing the room blower wasn't running, shut off the feed. I came to this site looking to order replacement parts when I saw the review (Dec. 2008) indicating the motor lock-up is an issue and still appears to be an issue. Has this been resolved? Is there another manufacturer I can order this from? Being February, I sure would like to be using it. I would appreciate any help or direction anyone can offer.
Thanks
RSD
