I have had no problems with noice. The fan switch had to be replace a couple months after I bought it, it was only blowing at one speed. The problem I have it that is does not seem to heat up the area. I have a very small home and can barely get the main room to even near 70°. Perhaps it's because I'm in Maine and outdoor temps have been in the single digits for weeks, but the stove just doesn't seem to heat up. I can hold my hand in front of the blower comfortably and not have to pull away. I've tried different pellets, I clean it daily and run the auger at 4 and cold air intake around 3-4. I got a deal on the stove price wise, but often wonder if I'd paid a little more for something better if I'd have this heating problem. Bottom line, I would not recommend.
