Blaze King Parlor King
We have a parlor model in the King size which has been phenominal. It heats our 1800 sq foot house with ease to 73 degrees, simply load it in the evening and forget about it till the next day. If it is below freezing during the day I load it once in the morning and once in the evening. We have left it for 2 1/2 days over the weekend on low and have had plenty of coals left to get it going when we get home. You can burn dripping wet wood that you cut yesterday if you want to, although it is not recommended. When the catalytic converter is engaged it burns anything going through it, so very little creosote forms in the pipe. As far as I am concerned these are the ONLY stoves to consider, nothing else can touch them. There are no other stoves with the thermostat control, that alone makes them worth having. We literaly do not touch the stove to control anything (i.e. drafts and dampers) and it keeps the house evenly heated and comfortable. Unbelievable but so true! Not to mention the huge capacity for ash. Clean it twice a winter is all, and it never comes out the door because the firebox is so deep.
