Bixby Energy Maxfire
I'm constantly messing with the settings. I am burning wood pellets. If I set it at 0-0 then it barely burns at all. As soon as more pellets drop in, it all but puts the fire out. If I crank it as high as the feed rate will go then I get a huge orange flame, but it burns real black. I love the stove for its efficiency, I'm just tired of black soot on my house and constanly messing with the settings. Anyone have any thoughts on getting the settings right. Should I not be cranking the feed rate as high as it will go?

Sset your stove at 0-0. This seemed to fix it for us, also make sure there are no ashes blocking the vent hole where your ash pan is. how about stove not cleaning out it jams instead.
