OK let me clue you in on a couple of facts you MIGHT need to know. I purchased a blaze king and my roof started leaking, We about died from down drafts in the middle of the night, it was a nightmare! THEN I CALLED THE MANUFACTURER , they told me things that I was NOT told when I made the purchase. Here are some real good facts you need to know. First when I got mine, they installed it for me, and on the inside of my house they used a singe layer pipe, the Manufacturer told me NEVER use a single layer pipe with a Blaze King, Use a double layer pipe, as this will keep the pipe really really hot for a longer period of time, hence longer burn times with my wood! Also the MANUFACTURER told us that you really need A DIRECTIONAL WIND CAP if you a.live in a windy area or b. if your outside pipe is NOT going to be taller than the highest peak of your roof or roofs close to your cap! We were getting about 6 hours of burn time before we made any changes, and once we changed the inside pipe to a double layer pipe we now load up the stove at 6am and then load it when we go to bed at 9pm (not much room to add wood, but when you go to sleep best to load it up) ALSO we noticed a big difference if you put the fan on LOW instead of HIGH, This wood stove heats our whole house which is a 2 story 2000sq ft 100 year old home!
I believe if someone is having a problem, call the MANUFACTURER in WASHINGTON and they will tell you how to solve your problem, GREAT COMPANY!
