Quadra-Fire 4300 Millennium
Bought the step 4300 in 1999. Start it in October and let it go out in March. We use this the supplement the heat on a 2000 SQ. Foot split level house in Minnesota. This will roast us out of the house if we use one year dried oak on a ten degree day. We have to mix the wood and starve it for air to keep from getting too warm. This is the perfect stove if you know how to cut wood, season wood, mix the wood and air properly. That is common knowledge for anyone that seriously wants to heat a home with wood. Great stove and so far I have had to only replace the door rope once and a few fire brick. I burn all types of wood,. And the only time I have had trouble is if the wood is not dry enough or the chimney is too dirty.
