Review: Quadra-Fire 2100 Millennium
Quadra-Fire 2100 Millennium
We have had the Quadra Fire 2100 for 8 years, and have been disappointed from the start. In our previous house we had a Federal Airtight which was impressive in heat production and easy, but was told by the dealer the QF was even better. But it doesn't produce nearly the heat and is a lot more work to start, requiring paper, cardboard and fine and medium size kindling. The Federal AT can start with paper, cardboard, and large kindling. We were going to switch stoves but our old house sold before we had time. Now the QF fibre panels are crumbling and will need replacement. They don't make Federal AT anymore but I have decided to purchase a Vermont casting similar to the Federal AT.
