Jotul F 602 CB
While the model 602 does its job I suppose, I have to admit that I was disappointed in its overall performance. First, the space in side of the fire box is really small, even for the size of the stove. I must limit the wood to short and small diameter pieces to get it to burn properly. Second, although I had the stove pipe professionally installed (presumably ruling out this as a cause), the stove seems to require a bit of effort to start and maintain a decent fire compared to other wood stoves I've had. Lastly, the burn time (even with oak wood) comes nowhere close to the adverised 5 hours. I am lucky to get half that in a burn time. Although the stove works well enought o keep it in place (small cabin), I would not buy this model again for a similar use.

The best wood stove I’ve ever owned. (had 2 other brands) Very efficient. the only drawback I can think of is that the wood box is a bit short.

I have owned two of these and made the mistake of buying one for a client. Because it’s about the smallest nice looking stove you can easily find I got them. Big mistake.
