Dansons Pelpro Standard
We've used this brand of pellet stove since 2006 and have excellent service from it. The 60 lb. hopper is far superior to the majority of pellet stoves that only hold 40 lbs. The need for cleaning soot buildup is the result of what kind of pellets you use and I have found only one brand of pellets that is truly premium. This one brand is more expensive but produces a hotter heat and less soot. Other brands produce less heat and more soot so don't blame the pellet stove for soot buildup. The biggest problems I have had starting the pellet stove in the fall are from dumb birds that fly down the chimney and jam the fan. This was taken care of by putting a screen over the top of the chimney.
