Fahrenheit Technologies Introduces Endurance Biomass Furnace

I'm from Ottawa, Canada and I ordered a Fahrenheit 50F from a store in Montreal (2 hours away from my home). I Paid $4,700 plus tax for it and I went to pick it up in early October 2008. It doesn't burn saw dust or wood chips... their website specifies what they burn, such as wood pellets, grain pellets, corn, cherry pits and other bio mass fuel. An auger about 2 1/2 inches in diameter pushes the fuel to the burn pot and it has to be the granular type fuel. Why not contact Fahrenheit directly? I have in the past and I spoke directly to their engineer. The unit has a 10 inch diameter, round duct. That thing pushes a lot of hot air! A guestimate is 1.5 bags of pellets per day (1 bag=40 LBS). I paid $4.50 per bag and bought 4.5 tons. Lat year it cost me $500 a month in oil... I might pay only $1,000 worth of pellets for the whole season but that's to be seen. Bye-bye oil.
