We bought the stove in 2001 and we have had trouble with it puffing smoke since. We have contacted the company twice and have tried both their suggestions with no luck. It sure is easy for them to say it is operator error. My husband owns a robotics company, I think he can figure out a wood stove. I don't touch it, I am so tired of the house filling up with smoke and the furniture smelling of smoke. Until they figure out they have a design flaw, I would not recommend this stove.

leaks smoke all the time I grew up with wood stoves all my life and know what im donig. but this wood stove is junk it will heat your home but you will smell smoke all time and it back puffs...
