Enviro Meridian
The Meridian is the first pellet stove I've owned and it is suposed to be fvery straight forward. I'm fairly handy and it took me a while to figure out how all this worked, but think of a pellet stove as a fan driven blow torche with the fire focussed in the burn basket of the pellet stove. Try to get hold of the trouble shooting guide for the Meridian if you plan to maintain it yourself. It isn't to complicated, but there are always multiple reasons if something isn't working right. Wood stoves certainly are more simple, but you can't run a wood stove for 24 hours on a single fill, and it won't start automatically - run as safely unattended, etc. Keep up with your maintenance on the Meridian and it is a great and efficient source of heating.
