Quadra-Fire Mt Vernon AE
I have had the MT Vernon for 3 years, I had some problems at first but I was able to fix the problems. I think the biggest problem with people who have thes stoves is thay do not clean then and do the mainance on them. This is a good stove, but if you do not know how to run the stove you are going to have problems. I have burned sun flower seeds, wood pellets,paper pellets, corn, sobeans, wheat grass pellets and charry pits with out any real problems. Like I said before you need to clean and maintain the stove. Sometimes I would get a corn clinker stuck in the pot, but I can fix this stove easy my self. I wish Quadra-Fire would make the stove burn corn a little more effectent so the clinker would not get stuck at all. Also I think that when the stove is placed in the manual mode the self cleaning pot should not dump, because this puts your fire out. The programing needs to be fix to adress this problem. mOver all this is a very good stove
