I bought this stove 3 months ago now and installed myself in my mini home. I had it wett certified by a licensed wett technician. I have to say this is a fantastic wood stove, it has exceeded my expectations. I was late to buy wood and could only two cords. Here we are almost 3 months later and I ...

Now in my second season with the J√łtul F100 and having burned over a cord of wood, I can say with confidence that this is an excellent wood stove. Fires are easy to light, easy to run, nicely efficient, and beautiful to watch. If you are thinking about installing a modern wood stove such as this ...

I've only had this "big brother" to the TN19 for about a month but very happy with its overall performance: easy to light, easily controlled, produces lots of heat for our 1300 ft home, and easily holds a fire overnight. Being "mobile home approved" means it can be as close as ...

this is a follow up to my 2 previous reviews for this tl50 wood stove. We remain a very happy with this unit. It has performed very very well over the ensuing almost 4 years that we've had the stove. It's hard to imagine now going back to a normal type of stove without the secondary burned. When we ...

I've had this stove since 1993 and have never replaced anything on it. I do need to get new glass for the door as I cracked the one in there now. It hasn't slowed me down from running the stove. I heat my house entirely with wood and this stove has been great. I've put all kinds of wood through it ...

Quadra-Fire 4300 Millennium
Review and ratings contributed by Sharon on Jan 29, 2016

Purchased a Quadra-Fire last year was told by the sale people that it would heat up my room and more, I have found the only way of keeping the fire going is to leave the door open, you have to sacrifice a lot of wood before the fire finally stays alight. Does not throw out much heat very ...

Review and ratings contributed by Roasty toasty in Cincinnati. on Jan 26, 2016

I love my Jotul F400 wood stove. I live in the middle of Cincinnati Ohio in a big old brick house and the wood stove sits prominently right in front of the living room fireplace. I plumbed the stove-pipe into the old rectangular fire-brick fireplace chimney and sealed around the stove-pipe with ...

This is a good stove. Is it the best you can buy, no. But it's a great value. I'm 2 Hudson valley NY winters on it, I run 4-5 cords a year. My house is just under 3000sf. I only use this stove and 2 small quiet efficient fans to circulate air well. Coldest room in the house is 60 degrees, ...

We have had the Quadra Fire 2100 for 8 years, and have been disappointed from the start. In our previous house we had a Federal Airtight which was impressive in heat production and easy, but was told by the dealer the QF was even better. But it doesn't produce nearly the heat and is a lot more ...

I am new to wood burning stoves. I have a small "shack" in southwestern Virginia. Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. There was a learning curve and adjustments initially. Since then all has gone well. Plenty of heat for a 500 s.f. shack. I run hot, therefore I don't need a lot. Easy ...

I've had my Jotul F 602 for about 8 years. I generally burn seasoned Almond wood. This stove is crap. I barely heats the room it is in to 65 degrees. Yes it will burn for 12 hours and keep the room, not the house at a consistent 59 degrees. I would never consider buying one of these again. The $330 plastic fan is a joke on a wood stove as well, it melted the fan.

A wonderful stove, even though a bunch of trolls seem to proliferate lies to the counter. Easy to use, very low emissions, great looking on my hearth and it provides a controlled burn with no smoke, ever. We are very happy and will by a smaller one next season for our family room.

The F 400 is simply a flawed design. As many previous reviewers have noted, it doesn't draw well and belches smoke when the door is opened. I burn well seasoned hardwood and have good clean 6" insulated stainless chimney with over 18' of vertical rise. I've tried various venting schemes from ...
