may I just say this stove is a VERY EXPENSIVE PIECE OF CRAP!! It is very expensive to operate, very dirty, dusty, noisy, keeps breaking down. I'm thinking, dear God what else can go wrong with this piece of crap? Try to fix it yourself? Good luck. Right now we are freezing because the afore ...

I bought this stove brand new in 2008 and it has been nothing but a headache since. After initial installation, I had the service team at my house on a regular basis. They could never seem to find what the problem was, and actually told.me they were going to claim mine as a "lemon". ...

Do not buy this stove. Per the manufacturer it is "normal" for the blower to not come on for 40 minutes, but their literature states up to 20 minutes. That does nothing but burn pellets. But that is not the only reason. My stove was installed last month - lo and behold I stopped using ...

I had my Harman advance since 2000. I have put in one blower motor and one feeder motor. It runs great from October to march every year. It will burn any kind of pellet with the right adjustment. I lite it with touch fuel so it doesn't flame up . You do need to clean after every 2 tons to ...

I have an FPP freestanding unit. I've had it eight years and had very little trouble with it. When I have had problems, the folks at Dansons have been friendly, knowledgeable and quick in helping. It would be hard for me to come up with any company whose service I'm happier about. They stand behind ...

Loving it! 2nd winter with a used demo model. -30 C and it's heating my open space vaulted ceiling 4 room log house to a steady 21C degrees. Easily heats to a higher room temp. No issues. Much quieter than the Harman Invincible it's replacing.

Had this Advance for 6 years now. Burn up to 8 tons of douglas fir pellets a year heating 2900 sq ft. Don't use the igniter more than once year to check it. Waxed ceder chips start this stove great. I clean the stove after each 2 to 3 tons of pellets. Just changed out the distribution motor. Spent ...

I have an owned a Harmon P68 for one year now. I live in Ohio in about a 250,000 dollars home. I have a Grand living room with vaulted ceilings. The stove is the centerpiece of the home. I have had no problem with my P68 it runs like a champ. We suspected that our allergies were a result of using wood pellets but an allergist says no. Now that we have been prescribed steroids for the winter it's really no problem.

One of these reviews used the term finicky and that's very accurate for this unit. I inherited my Classic Bay 1200 from someone and it was a 1999 model year unit that had been very lightly used. I've only used it for one winter so far and probably burned about 2 tons of pellets. I recently had ...
