I have used this stove for over 16 years and am using the 2nd one now. It is hard to light unless I leave a Tablespoon of charcoal or dirt mounded in the center of the fire pot. The I let the oil flow into the pot until I see it has just surrounded that center, which wicks the fuel & I light ...

I have had one ten years. Love the heat and effeicincy. Do not like replacing the $300 burner which burns through every five years and is misleadingly NOT covered under warranty. Also when the burner burns through it can drip burning oiil out into the room.

We have this stove at our 22'x24' log cabin. Use it as a 24 hour heater and supplement with the woodstove. Overall, very pleased. Top lid is decorative bu functionally worthless and dangerous around kids if left up. I have wired mine up. The chimney needs to be higher than the ridgeline or you get ...

If you want to wake up cold and have to use a turkey baster to remove a liter of oil from your stove then get a Kuma. My Kuma is such a lemon of a stove its putting me in a lousy mood. I'm always cursing it! It's such a pain, always burning orange, flame going out and the soot is very hard to wash ...

I fine this stove very good but the problem with this stove is that it is very hard to light if we don't have a wind.I have a brick chimney and was told that I needed a 5" liner which would give it more draft, which I had installed. The stove works fine except when their is no wind to create a ...
