I bought my Sante Fe in September of 2008 and have burned about 6 tons of pellets. I find the heat output very low to the point I think something might be wrong with it. Since this was the first pellet stove I have ever had I just assumed that this was the amount of heat it gave off until I felt the heat output from my father’s stove which is a different brand. Sometimes I can touch the grills ...

Does anyone have a problem with noise coming from the this pellet stove? Pellet stove is downstairs. Bedrooms are upstairs and it sounds like a very loud car and the noise keeps me up. We do have a longer than average chimney, so I'm not sure if that may have anything to do with it. In the past we attributed the noise to the wind, but lately it hasn't been windy. Besides the noise factor, it ...

My first pellet stove, I got the Santa Fe on December 6, 2011. I have an old house with lots of heat loss but this unit heats part of the downstairs and all of the upstairs. It certainly likes some pellets better than others. Burning Barefoot and I get lots of heat with very little ash. It's in my living room and it works fine for me. Like the previous reviewer, I need to tweak my air handling ...

I bought my stove in October and just had it replaced yesterday (2 months later). It will not start up by itself. If we want the stove to start we have to push the reset button. Going to have to call service AGAIN!

I have a 1100sf house and I'm having a hard time even heating that room that the Fireplace is in. The dealer keeps telling me that it because it's cold outside.BULL!! I have turned the fan on high and opened the filler all the way open. Does anyone have a answer for why it's not putting out the heat?

In 2-1/2 years the stove has performed well. With some lower-grade pellets the bottom of the burn pot, where a plate pivots to the side to drop ashes and clinkers, can get a buildup on it that takes some scraping off for the trap door to work. Also, the plate in front of the exhaust vent has leaned slightly to the right, creating a low howling noise when the fire and stove are high the air drawn ...

Bought the SF AE model in September. I have burned about 1 ton of pellets so far. Works flawlessly! The system was clogged once but the relief was a few seconds with the tool provided by Quadra Fire. Read the manually carefully. It heats my 2600 sq foot house (2 story). I need better air handling, but that's not the fault of the quadrafire. I recommend it highly.
