Quadra-Fire Castile

The Quadra-Fire Castile pellet stove features three heat settings, automatic ignition, and thermostat control. The stove is rated to heat up to 1500 square feet at over 30,000 BUT/hr.

The Castile's cast-iron side panels are built in Europe for assembly at the company's manufacturing plant in Washington State. An optional log set comes with the stove, and the Castile is available in 4 baked enamel colors: black, mahogany porcelain, sienna bronze and willow.

I would not recommend one. I have had over 10 years and was very consistent with its care. I just replaced the feed motor and now the control board is not working, second one. This is the fifth repair. Go with a wood buring stove.

Pellet stoves have moving parts that can break. they have fans so noise may be an issue. However most of the probs listed by people on here are due to maintenance. I must be one of the lucky ones!! We've had our freestanding castile for four winters. The control box just had to be replaced. Other than that, the stove has performed well.I burn pellets only and depending on the quality have to clean the stove every four to five days. I have had this stove for 5 years. had to replace the main control board this past october now it runs great. My old control board would feed to many pellets, so I would have to clean it twice a day or fire pot would fill will heavy ash now it will run for days without having to clean.
