Cute stove, but it has been a huge expenditure every single year, and always right around christmas when money is shortest and the weather is coldest. I have replaced the auger motor 3 times at 225 a pop, and now this year a week before christmas the fan motor has gone out. Worst purchase I have ever made, and I think of how many stoves I could have bought with the money I have sunk into this ...Overall Performance:

Love the look, ease of cleaning, and heat output. We used the Okanagan pellets as suggested by Granville Stone in Holden, Maine. We are very happy with our purchase!!Overall Performance:

I read several reviews regarding Thelin and found them mixed. I purchased my Parlour two years ago and other than a motor problem when I initially bought the unit I have not had an issue with it. The service was superior and they took care of it promptly. As with any product maintenance is key. I spoke to my dealer regarding my next purchase and they spoke very highly of Thelin. They said that ...Overall Performance:

This is a good looking pellet stove but it doesn't heat our 100 year old two story farm house very well. Had to have the motor replaced in the first year along with the auger. Called the manufacturer about the heating problem and they told us that we couldn't get good quality pellets in our area in NC. Wish I had known that before hand. It is not easy to clean and it is a very messy job. ...Overall Performance:

Stove didnt work right from day one. After several attempted fixes was informed that the original fan was on recall. Got the new fan had it installed worked, well for a little while. Have since replaced the auger moter, had the fan rebuilt. The metal blades on the fan motor warped then broke. Now the auger moter is acting up again. BTW have an 8 year old Harmon stove in the house as well. Does ...Overall Performance:

I have owned and used a parlour 3000 since 2002. I run it 24/7 except for the one hour cool down and vacuum once or twice a week during the heating season. About every 4 to 5 years I have to replace the feed and air motors for $200. I like it a lot and don't even see it on the electric bill(27 watts)/<$5.00 a month. It burns all available brands of pellets as long as you know how to watch it and ...Overall Performance:

After a year and a half I had problems with my stove.I put almost four hundred dollars into the stove before pulling it and making a end table out of it. Beautiful piece of art but it is not a very good pellet stove.Overall Performance:

After less than two years, the fan went out. Because I'm in a rural area, no service techs could be found for several weeks. I paid for 3 service calls and then the auger went out (this is 2 weeks later). A $3,000. product that lasts less than two years is more than planned obselescence or bad design; it's fraud. Don't get it for the looks; it doesn't work.Overall Performance:

I purchased a Thelin Parlour stove this year and I tell you, this was the best purchase I made the entire year. The stove runs as good as it looks. With the new cast iron iron pot there are barely any ashes. Easy to maintain, easy to clean and burns great. I would never buy another kind. The customer service and tech support from the company is excellent. I am an HVAC tech by trade so I know ...Overall Performance:

I am so unhappy with this stove. My local Hearth & Home store doesn't even sell them anymore. I have spent more money on replacing parts,(my husband is a heat tech so the labor is free) it makes me sick. Every year its always something. Now the auger is acting up. I should have just purchased a new boiler. It would have been cheaper and ALOT LESS hassle.Overall Performance:

I love the look of the stove. I have to clean it daily because good pellets are not coming my way. Replaced the Auger after 3 weeks, need a new ash pan now...won't stay closed. I have owned it 5 weeks. Very disappointed, spent alot of money. The place I bought it is the worst ever...Holden, Maine. Clogs soooo easily :( very disappointed but when it works its awesome...HELP!!!!Overall Performance:

I dig this stove - it's got the look of a classic enamel wood stove, but without having to cut and stack wood. Sensitive to grade of pellets - lower quality pellets have built up ash very quickly. The fire pot is not big, so ash clogs it up quickly. Good quality oak or hickory pellets are recommended. Can raise the temperature ofa room 10 degrees in about an hour on medium. Seems to run most ...Overall Performance:

They better do something about the fan in this stove. I have to replace the $200. fan every other season and it's a pain. Mr Thelin has informed me that the reason for the fan failure is because it runs for extended periods of time. I know that eight hours a day during the winter months is more than my bathroom fan but so far I've gotten 25 years out that one. I'm considering taking the fan out ...
