Quadra-Fire Mt Vernon AE
The Mt. Vernon AE is engineered and designed to operate automatically, not only adjusting temperature on the fly but also different settings for user-selectable fuels. The stove will burn corn, standard wood pellets, wheat, or sunflower seeds.A 7-day programmable thermostat is available that controls room temperature, adjusts heat output, regulates the stove's autoclean cycle, and monitors built-in diagnostics. Made of cast iron throughout, the Mt. Vernon can burn at over 83% efficiency and provides five manual or automatic heat settings.

I'm so glad we made the investment to buy this stove. I'm still new to using a pellet stove, but this Quadrafire stove made it easy to learn. The stove saved us over 1,500 dollars this winter.Overall Performance:

Switched back to wood because of this stove. Uses tons of fuel for the amount of heat it generates. Since I have learned that there are at least two (St. Croix & Harman) other stoves on the market that do much better with fuel and maybe I would have liked pellet if I would have chosen them... but too late for me. See a stove burning, especially on a high setting. This stove seems to loose ...
