I just purchased one this year. Only did some test run. Overall, it seemed to have worked fine. It is a little noisy, however. Not as what it said whisper quiet. Will see how well it performs in winter. Some people used the highest heating setting, which is not for normal use. Try to avoid that.Overall Performance:

We have had our stove for about 4 winters. We call it a BREAKWELL because we're always buying parts for the thing. Circuit cards, burnpots, blower motor, you name it we have replaced it not only once but 2-3 times. Good luck with yours. We will be getting a Quadra-Fire next year.Overall Performance:

Low quality overpriced model with issues:1. Poor factory testing: check list was included but the stove was shipped with missing dumper control and igniter had wire with defective connections. It means the stove never been tested. It was such a pain to detect the problem!
2. There is smoke leak when stove is starting up
3. The stove is advertised as quite model, but reality… is ...

I've owned my stove since October 2008. I've had trouble from the start. It is NOT quiet as a whisper. It is noisy and rattles a lot. Also, I had a fire in the ashpan. The machine was set on 2 at the time and kept sending pellets at a rate that couldn't burn fast enough. Good thing I was home at the time. I'm going to speak with the dealer about sending this back to the manufacturer and getting ...Overall Performance:

THis stove has been nothing but trouble from day 1. It shoots pellets outside of the burnpot and has caused mini-fires down below in the ash bin. I have to clean mine almost daily now in order for it to work at all. I've tried everything from differnet namebrands of pellets, using an adapter to keep the pellets in the pot, adjusting the screw on the bottom of the unit--you name it, I've tried ...Overall Performance:

We have had ares for 3 years. I have replaced the blower units and now the controll unit. This is not a cheap unit to buy and the parts are not cheap. The blower units ( motors) are built very cheap they are not a closed unit and the grit from the pellets eat at the bearings they should be a closed unitOverall Performance:

We are now on our second year we have had the blower motor changed twice the controlpanel once and the decretive tubes on out side fixe once. now they are rattling again. this is junk and I would recomend you stay away. Must be cleaned constantly as staed by others. I wish I had spent the money for the wood stove and not this pellet stove.Overall Performance:

I have had two P2000FS in two separate houses for a total of 5 years. These are expensive units that are very attractive. I am replacing the convection blower after using it for two winters due to defective parts. This should be replaced free of charge because everyone is complaining. The stove is semi quiet, the fan blows at 3000 r.p.m. by the way. That r.p.m. should be a question when you buy ...Overall Performance:

I have owned aBrewckwell P2000 fireplace insert and have had it for the past 6 years. It runs very well and have not had an issue. I do clean the side panels and vaccume it out weekly, so it is kept as clean as possible. I also clean the exhaust pipe yearly as well as the convection motor. I find that preventative maintanence is essential and may be the reason it runs as well as it ...

what a piece of iron. I really have to say it may be just being a pellet stove. when cleaning soot clings to everything and hard to remove from hands, gloves, arms or othe body parts. going back to good old wood next year. pellet too expensive for the amount of heat provided. never purchase a breckwell.Overall Performance:

my opinion is to run, run, run. money pit. used not quite 3 winters. parts needed so far, convection blower motor, printed circuit panel. can wait to see what else fails. one reply had it right.
