We have tried EVERY suggestion the dealer (Ace Hardware) has thrown at us. They suggested: Try different brand of pellets Have professionally cleaned Burn only on high Clean chimney There are hidden chambers that fill with ash ...

Needs frequent cleaning for consistent efficiency. Lots of crevices to clean out, I use canned air to blow the ash out and a shop vac to clean. This is okay in fall or spring weather, but in the dead of winter it gets cold when it needs cleaning. I have no back up heat. Nice little stove overall, very attractive.

This is a GREAT New Stove. Burns Hot, Clean, & easy. It heats almost 3000 square feet in my home. Love the ease of pushing a button to start, and just empty the ash pan. St. Croix has another amazing product & we are very impressed with this stove, have been telling everyone.

Have had it in a 100 year old drafty farmhouse in North Dakota for the past two winters. Works well. Easy to take care of. Added the hopper extension so we could go a bit longer between fills during the long, cold winter nights when temps hit 30 below and colder. Burns clean, is easy to take care of and works well. Will have a battery backup for this coming winter so the fan and auger continue ...
