St. Croix Greenfield
From St. Croix
The Greenfield in appearance refers back to the traditional cast iron wood stoves, but it's uniquely designed to burn economical corn as its fuel.
It's a classic federal style with with radiant door detail that makes the Greenfield a warm and traditional addition to any room in your house, and the functional doors give you a large fireview when open.
The stove measures 25" wide by 32.5" tall and 23.5" deep and will heat up to 1800 square feet at 40,000 max BTUs.

I have had this corn stove for over yrs now. Keep it clean and it runs well. End of last year and beginning of this year we had problems keeping a nice clean burn and corn would build up and smother flame. found out newer stoves have a pair of holes next to the hopper to clean out the chamber whee your exhaaust ges through to govented outside. Immediately had problems with stove when it was installed. Vacuum switch went out almost immediately. Then, seller wouldn't wouldn't stand behind problems after that. Now auger motor? goes out last night. Great heat when it works, beautiful stove. Read St. Croix reviws online-I wish I had.Overall Performance:

We live in northern Michigan and have used our corn stove for the past 4 winters and it is great. Corn is very effecient to burn and the stove warms our whole house which is a ranch style. We are very satisfied and would certainly buy another when the time comes.Overall Performance:

We live in North Dakota. Purchased the Greenfield in November 2008. It hasn't run reliably or continuously yet. When it runs - it is great. Trouble is, it is always coming down with problems. It has been hauled out of the house and back to the dealers shop twice in less than 2 years. After 3 months of using it I'd say its pretty awesome.Its been keeping our home at a good 72 degrees when it get really cold I put it on 4 or 5 and it keep the house around 68-70. 200sq ft home, split level. We live in mid Michigan with very long and cold winters. We live in a 104 year old farm house. (wiht some remodeling done) We have had the Greenfield for 2 1/2 years now and I (we) love it.
