I Have Been Running The Sedore for about 5 months, and over all I am pleased. I heat my tri-level, high ceiling home with a Lopi Revere insert on the middle level, and hot water baseboard that heats the rest of the home. I installed the Sedore in my attached garage. The Sedore has two water coils installed, one has a loop connected to my domestic hot water tank and the other is connected to my ...Overall Performance:

After reading many posts, reviews and reading the PDF owner's manual from the site, I decided to take the plunge. Living in Northern Ontario, the winters get long and cold. After installation, I lit'er up and everything went according as planned. My chimney, being 18ft, had good draft. I'm mostly burning softwoods and some birch. Filling it up, it lasted all night. Up to now, I'm really ...Overall Performance:

I've only owned this model woodstove for one season but am highly impressed by it's efficiency & heat output, especially utilizing the optional hot water coils. I am able to burn all the gnarly un-splittable chunks that my relatives can't keep lit in their conventional woodstoves. Our stove will burn 12+ hours on one load & still be able to light itself off of coals a full 24 hours later, which ...Overall Performance:

My employer had purchased a 70,000 sq ft shool and we had set up an wood flooring operation in it. This operation produced a lot of saw dust and we used a 3000 and connected to the boiler. The stove was built with hot water coils. We setup the stove in the boys locker room and connect the stove into the existing heating water line to feed the heat back to the boiler. It worked. the stove ...Overall Performance:

This stove has been wonderful as my husband doesn't have to cut, haul, chop and carry half as much wood as our previous stove. It is so nice to come home to a warm, toasty house after many hours away. We have another heat source but rarely use it as the Sedore is so convenient.Overall Performance:

I'm just heading into my second season with the Sedore 3000 and I have to say that this is the first time I have ever faced a coming Winter without a feeling of dread. Last Winter was the most comfortable and cozy we'd known in many years. The Sedore performed brilliantly without all the "fussing" of other stove models I've used in the past. The stove is a workhorse. I saved and waited for a ...Overall Performance:

I simply love my 3000. I burn oak pallets and split oak. Burning this type of fuel leaves little ash to clean up as it burns quite effeciently. I can load whole logs up to 12" in diameter after it's up and running and they will burn all night into mid morning before having to reload. it's easy for my wife to keep it going also 24/7 if needed. I recommend this stove to anyone wanting to save ...Overall Performance:

I've been using a Sedore for over 6 years now and truly believe there are no comparisons. I just fired up my new 3000 last night, its here purring, and producing that wonderful radiant heat that attracts everyone like a magnet. Being the Sedore manufacturer I’ll leave it at this, I am still amazed at how well these extremely simple units operate, and the amount of heat they produce???Overall Performance:

I've been using my new Model 3000 for about a month. I have some unique conditions that caused me to do a lot of experimentation but now that I have the stove dialed in, it is a fantastic unit. It holds a good fire for 14 hours easily with outside temp at 30 degrees. I've been heating with wood since 1983. I've had all different kinds of stoves. The Sedore 3000 is the best stove I've ever ...Overall Performance:

This is the best wood heating stove I have ever used. This stove will burn all the "standard" wood everyone else burns plus any "junk" wood that others would not consider. I have burnt wood pallets, bark, old fence posts, cottonwood, wood shavings from log home "hand pealed" scrap, saw dust, less than aged firewood, etc. Very well built "like a tank", easy to use and load, no electric required, ...Overall Performance:

WE have heated our PA home with this since Feb. of 2008. We ran out of oil and then heated our 3000 square foot home with this stove. We were not disappointed. It is a great stove and very simple. Well worth consideration. And it is affordable and made to last.Overall Performance:

This was my first Sedore Stove. Our family has 5, powerful heating units, burn what YOU want and burns anything. Don't forget that it can have coils added for HOT water.
